Author Guidelines
Writers who will submit articles to the Journal of Socio-Economic Community Service (Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Sosial Ekonomi) must pay attention to the following writing conditions:
General Terms
- The article is the result of community service activities that have never been published and are not in the process of being reviewed in other journals.
- The manuscript is written in good and correct Indonesian or English.
- Articles must have a real contribution to the social and economic development of the community.
- Authors are required to follow the journal template that has been provided.
Structure Articles
The article manuscript at least contains:
- Article Title
- Author and Affiliate Names
- Abstract and Keywords
- Introduction
- Implementation Method
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments (optional)
- Bibliography
Writing Format
- Text typed using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
- Font Times New Roman size 12 pt
- Space 1.5
- A4 paper size
- 5 cm margin on all sides
- Article length between 8–15 pages
- Images and tables must be clear and numbered and captioned
Abstract
- Written in Indonesian and English
- Abstract length 150–250 words
- Contains the objectives, methods, results, and impacts of service activities
- Accompanied by 3–5 keywords
Citations and References
- Using APA Style citation styles
- It is recommended to use a reference management application such as Mendeley or Zotero
- References of at least 10 relevant sources
- Primary sources and publications of the last 5 years are preferred
Publication Ethics
Authors are obliged to uphold the ethics of scientific publications, including:
- Plagiarism-free
- Originality of the work
- No fabrication or manipulation of data
- Listing sources correctly
- Include all contributing parties as authors
Proses Review
Each article will go through the process:
- Initial inspection by the editor
- Plagiarism check
- Double-Blind Peer Review
- Revision by the author if needed
- Final verdict of the editor
Article Submission
Articles are sent through the OJS journal system after the author registers an account as an author. The author is required to ensure that all article metadata has been filled in completely and correctly before submitting the article.
