Author Guidelines
Journal of Business, Economics and Management Research welcomes original manuscripts in the fields of business, economics, management, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and related interdisciplinary studies. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts.
General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review by another journal or publisher.
- The manuscript may be written in English.
- The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- The recommended manuscript length is between 5,000–8,000 words, including references.
- Authors must ensure that the manuscript is free from plagiarism and properly cite all sources used.
Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title
Concise, informative, and not more than 20 words. - Author Information
Full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), email address(es), and corresponding author details. - Abstract
The abstract should contain 150–250 words describing the purpose, methodology, findings, and conclusion of the study. - Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords relevant to the manuscript. - Introduction
Explain the background, research problem, objectives, and significance of the study. - Method
Describe research design, population/sample, data collection techniques, and data analysis methods. - Results and Discussion
Present research findings and discuss their implications. - Conclusion
Summarize the main findings and provide recommendations or future research directions. - References
Use recent and relevant references following the APA citation style (7th Edition).
Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt
- Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
- Paper size: A4
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
- Page numbers should be included.
Tables and Figures
- Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
- Each table and figure should include a title and source (if applicable).
- Ensure that images, charts, and graphics are clear and of high quality.
Citation and References
Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as:
- Mendeley
- Zotero
- EndNote
References should primarily consist of recent journal articles published within the last 5 years.
Submission Process
Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must register before submitting a manuscript and follow all submission instructions available on the journal website.
Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject manuscripts based on reviewers’ recommendations.
Publication Ethics
Authors must comply with publication ethics standards, including:
- Originality of work
- Proper citation and acknowledgment
- Avoidance of plagiarism and data fabrication
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest
Copyright and Licensing
Published articles remain the responsibility of the authors. Authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article under the applicable open-access policy and licensing terms.
